Fluval 3plus Frustration

I have a fluval 3 plus with 2 bio foams, and the fine wool section in. I dont have a lot of waste producing fish, but every couple of weeks the filters clogging indicator goes down. its a tad annoying, I dont want to have to keep removing the filter and cleaning the foam as i am sure this will disrupt the bacteria, do you think that by removing the fine filter it may help with the clogging up?

to be honest when I remove the filters none of them look particularly dirty anyway. is it just a poor design?

take the top of the filter apart, inside is what looks like a little wheel (thingy) this is a magnetic wheel that also needs cleaning when you change the filters if it hasnt been done then that will be the problem, just wash it in your tank and replace, left to long and your filter will fail.
