Fluval 303 External Filter Media

I have 3 of these filters, which are all empty and have 3 chambers for unknown media...can anyone advise on what should be in there? My Dad gave me them years ago when I was going to set up some tanks in my cellar until it was discovered we couldn't get them down there! I have asked my Dad, but he's in China, so I thought I would get a quicker response on here! Thanks!

In my 304 ive got foam, pre filter, biomax and then carbon. Inside there should be a plastic frame to hold the foam, and then three stacking baskets. In the bottom one put ceramic pre filter, in the middle one put ceramic hula-hoop biomax and in the top one put either carbon or bio wool...

I think thats right?

Instead of carbon put some sponges in there. In my 303 i have 2 lvls of sponges and 1 lvl of bio max.
