I have a 3+ in my 25 us gallon tank, which is probably a bit over the top, but the bigger filter the better I reckon! However on full flow the current is possibly a bit high for the fish, does it make sense to turn the filter flow rate down to the minimum setting? I presume the flow of current through the filter will still be enough to feed the bacteria and I will still reap the benefit of the larger filter capacity of the 3+ in comparison to having a 2+ filter with full flow rate?
