Have just cleaned my 204 when I set it off again the basket had fallen off the bottom of the intake tube. I put it back on but then noticed a ball floating in the water.
Don't remember ever seeing a ball when I put the thing together in the first place.
Has it come out of the aqua stop lever? It mentions a ball stop in the intake pipe in the instructions.
Can I just put it back down the intake pipe? The filter seemed to be working ok without the ball but have turned if off while I come and ask you what do I do?

I had taken a deep breath and figured it must have come out of the intake strainer seeing as the basket had come loose. I put it back and filter is working fine. I'm just a filter-phobe! Well cannister filters anyway - they frighten me - so many bits
