Hi all, I recently picked up a fluval 105 for my main tank, and thats running great (finger crossed - been a day so far, and Im in work being paranoid). So, I popped on ebay and picked up a new Fluval 103 for half the price, for my other tank. Now both tanks are 24", and the tank I want to use the Fluval 103 contains a Bumblebee cat and a Banjo cat (hopefully). I get the feeling that the large hang on filter i'm currently using (taken from the smaller tank the bumble bee was in) is now doing nothing more than aireation duty in this taller slightly longer tank. SO, long winded as this is, is there much difference between the Fluval 105 and the 103? Thanks all! Oh and any noted problems? with the Fluval 103? (or the 105 for that matter!)

Thanks!

The X05 series had some changes made to the sealant ring which made them less likely to leak. Some people had a lot of problems with the x03 series leaking but i used them a lot (different sizes too) and didnt have any problems.
