im thinking about switching from incadescent to fluorescent in my 10g.

its not heavily planted and has really low light plants, so im not worried about wpg.

however, i do not like the yellow of incandescent.

does fluorescent make a noticable change?

and also, how similar is the brightness produces by each one.

thanks

Fluorescent is better, period

Incandescent causes fluctiuations in water temp, esp. in small tanks.

Red and blue light is used in photosynthesis and shows off your fish better, and there is mopre of it in fluorescent lights, helping show off your fish and grow your plants.

As for brightness, I would say fluorescent is brighter. Either way, it's a better color.
