Was doing what i think most of us FW lot do around the SW section of the fish show and having a good old "if only" moment, and having a good listen to somone talking about there tank and pretending not to be paying atention to somone elses convo,

well acording to this bloke he has a 20 G and uses a old canister filter for his rowaphos and stuff, and a FSB filter for his main bio filter as the amout of live rock he has in the tank is minimal,
and he has been doing that for a couple of years now without any hassles,

now having a good read threw the nano section,i cant say i have seen anyone else on here mentioning it?

would it work?
would it be worth doing?

Well I've heard good things about fluidized sand bed filters provided they are setup properly but I also hear that they are difficult to properly size and run. Thats about all I know ;)

i run one on a fresh water tank, and for about 3 months had a red sea 300 as my only bio filter on a 30G and it worked great, really great infact,
was just curious as to how they would work on a nano as the main bio filter, as i know very little to nothing about the salty side of things
thanks ski!
