Ive just bought a merlin fluidised biological canister filter, can some one advise me of a powerhead that will do the job needed. The instructions say in need a powerhead that will pump 150 gal hr @ 5ft of pressure.
NOTE: pump specifications are based on the supplied quantity of media being fluidised 3 to 4 times the static volume ( as marked on the unit) and the water being taken from , and returned to, the same height in relation to the position of the unit. Any variation will alter the specifications of the required pump.
The top of canister to the top of tank will be 80cm distance, the canister is about 50cm tall.
I need some sound advice only on this one
