Can flowerhorn and parrot fish be together in 150 gallon tank ?

The blood parrot cichlid may be picked on by the flowerhorn.

You cannot safely assume a flowerhorn will be ok with any tankmate. It probably won’t be.

Yes I have heard they are best in a species only tank

When it’s mature it will consider the tank as its own territory. Any tankmate would be an intruder in the mind of the flowerhorn, and killed or allowed to live at its whim.
