Flowerhorn Help

Hello i just joined


I recently(2 days ago) bought a 3-4inc Flowerhorn and i havent seen it eat anything when i feed

but jsut reecently i saw him sucking up pebbles and acted like he was eating the extra food of them is there something i should do or what

I agree with Jason. I've had them go three days without food when I first got them. It's actually pretty normal. They used to tell you not to feed for the first 24 hours. If he doesn't eat in a few days start worrying. And when he's picking up gravel he's just redecorating. If he gets any food off the gravel that's just gravy!!!

Yup they are absolutely correct. What I do with my FHs is I don't feed them for 3 days (considering I'm transferring them in a new tank)

FHs eats like pigs so don't worry he's going to eat soon.

Oh BTW can you post his picture so I can figure out what kind of FH is he.
