In the past in the scenarios I've wanted to reduce the water flow in my tanks I've done it with two seperate methods. The most obvious is just utilising adjustable pumps however in the past I have also pierced holes in piping. Now whilst I was at least seemingly successful in that I've done that more than once with reasonable results and no detrimental effects. I was aware even at the times it was a bit of a rough way of doing things. It's not something I had that warm fuzzy feeling off in the past, rather I was left with long standing concerns regarding the cowboy manner I'd adapted things and the fear it could go wrong.
For information the tank is an almost standard fluval flex 57. I'm partial to an all in one.
Anyhow, just ordered this https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/3240563855...57726&itm=324056385589&pmt=0&noa=1&pg=2386202 so I'm wondering if anybody has any previous experience with this item? Gotta be better than poking holes right...
