Ok so my Eclipse 3 Hood filter died tonight so I decided to take out my extra filter. The filter is a Eheim Classic 2215 which I didnt use because last time I tried it there where some problems. Last time I couldent seem to get the flow rate to work right and the tubed where to short. This time I kinda fixed those problems but I still cant seem to get it to full flow still. Last time I used an attachment over the Intake that allowed for something similar to an underground filter effect except it was kept above ground (I cant find an image anywhere). Anyways I since removed that and the flow has improved a lot now. Problem is that its still less then the flow then my Eclipse 3 Hood filter which was 250GPH. I would say its not over 100GPH right now. I have a pic of the flow below. The ither issue is I have no filter guard for it so fish could easily swim into it so I did a custom job with some filter floss and an old guard i have. I just ordered the official guard a few min ago.

Mainly my question is will this still be sufficent as long as I have some flow going? Tank is few months old but the media I used from my old tank when I switched is close to a year old. I also have a Fluval 2+ thats been there for half a year as will running along side the Eheim. Think the tank will be fine?
