Just now I was posting then this board massege came up saying flood control! What is it?

Everyone has it, it's a spam control feature. It prevents someone from posting messages rapidly, one after another.

why is there search flood control though? Is it just to stop some bot searching loads and loads to try and crash the system?

It stops people from spamming.. so someone cant come on here and click ''add reply'' 100 times and spam up the forum.
