We're based in Worcestershire UK and we are really struggling to find a LFS that stock floating plants. Has anyone got any suggestions? Many thanks.

Dave

I actually bought some last weekend from Maidenhead Aquatics in Peterborough. They are plenty of stores over the country and their website is fairly good so maybe worth checking....

I have used water hyacinth, water chestnut and water lettuce before (see your local pond stockists).
all of them did great for a few weeks but then started to die off, I assume due to inadequate light levels.

duckweed looks smart but gets messy, my mate has it, it gets everywhere lol

I have duckweed... you are welcome to some free !

How much can you spare?!

Take what Rooster said with a pinch of Salt,
You dont want any :shifty:

The offer was genuine.... whats with the salt comment ? Its a very good covering plant, and some fish love to eat it.

I thought you was joking
i.e you had it introduced and now cant have rid of it.... as its horrible in some eyes..
"pinch of salt" is a figure of speach

I've got african frogbit and my little fishy friends seem to like that! I had the same problem - couldn't find any floating plants in any of my local fish shops so i got it on e-bay! was only like £3 and got here fine - no problems with it!!
