My Dojo Loach started floating about 2 days ago and I have looked into ways to get him to stop floating, I think that it was bad food that gave him gas in the stomach. (My friend had feed him goldfish flakes) I moved him to a plant-based pellets. After him still not stopping to float, I tried the last resort method that was recommended by taking him out of water for about 5 min, because I have seen posts and video about it working. It didn't work, so now what should I do?

Try peas...

When my dodjos get the but floats they usualy are able to "fart" it out. When they can't I don't feed them anything other than (defrosted) frozen petite peas, hulled and chopped up. Usually helps them out.

Stop feeing dry food for a week and feed them live or frozen foods instead. If the fish can swim normally after a week on frozen/ live foods, it is air in the intestine. If the fish continues to float after a week without dry food, then it has an internal problem.
