Fliter Question

Hi All,

I have a Fluval 2 plus filter with a clogging indicator on it, can anyone tell me does the indicator go up when it is needing changed or down? I have no instruction for it

Hi Mred31

The indicators on the fluval filters will stay down if they are clogged, but if you wait for this to happen it will also mean it would have not been running properly for some time as it will be a gradual build up inside the filter. I usually just give the filter media a wash out in old tank water about every 4 weeks or so to avoid it clogging up completely.
