Flaring

Is it bad if they flare all the time? Is it stressfulor damaging to their health? My betta keeps flaring at his reflection in the glass.

It may not be BAD, per se, but it's not really GOOD. He could very well stress himself out if he's flaring all day long. Do you keep the light on in your tank? If so, then turning it out might help him to stop.
