My red crown, Flare, has ich. I just noticed it this morning (Thursday). He's in his own bowl now, but he was in a divided tank with 2 other crowns until Saturday. The other two are also in their own bowls while their tank is being re-divided. I'm going out to buy some Ich medicine today. My question is, should I treat the other two guys, too, even though they're showing no signs of ich? Should I put them all back in the divided 10 gallon and treat them all together, or should i leave them in seperate bowls and treat them seperately?

I had this problem in a community tank and I quaruntined the affected fish and heavily treated that one then added a small amount of the medicine to the community tank.

A week later and all was well, good luck

Nope, don't treat the others if they aren't showing signs. Keep an eye on them and treat them if they become symtomatic. No need to medicate for what might happen, wait until it does.

Good luck!

Cation is right. Your other bettas are probably fine. I'm no expert, but the life cycle of ich would suggest that it developed after he was in the bowl. Sometimes the stress of leaving his "home" and relocating is enough to make them sick. Don't medicate the others unless you are sure they have it. It sounds like you've caught it early so he should be fine with a little med and TLC.
