I am feeding my red cherry shrimps and shrimplets with fish flakes, is that alright?

If I were you, I'd get some sinking foods. Flakes might be missed at the surface.
Catfish pellets or hikari sinking wafers work nicely. :)

Mine will eat flakes, in fact they come up into the floating plants and pick them off the surface.

i will feed them the very small flakes then i will use a stick to stir the flakes so that they will sink.

But does flake has enough nutritions they need?

Flake food should be sufficient, I guess. To be honest, I'm sure they won't be unhappy if you supplement their diet with random treat food from time to time. For instance, I'm not sure about cherries, but I know most shrimp enjoy jellied bloodworms from time to time...

Mine get flakes as thats what I feed my galaxy rasboras but also algae wafers, variety wafers and squished peas(a particular fave).Oh and if you have reptomin I would try them on that.Mine go crazy for it.

They will eat just about anything, I have read that if their diet has too much protein it can cause them to grow too fast which can cause them trouble when they have to moult. I give them goldfish flake as it has more veg. They do like vegetables anyway spinach seems a real favourite just dropped in boiling water and then fed, peas, beans, lettuce, cabbage, dandelion and nettles are also good (blanched). Leaves like dried oak, beach or Indian almond leaves are also good for shrimp, I think part of it is the stuff that grows on the leaves in the water as they decay but they also eat the leaves. I also feed them oats, sunflower and other seeds.
