Flagtail Fish?

I was wondering if anyone has any experiance with
either Semaprochilodus insignis or Semaprochilodus taeniurus
I'm not sure which one I've seen but both are similar in size and temperment.

what would be the minimum tank size for a 28cm/11" fish, bearing in mind they
are a schooling fish and I would want at least 5 of them.

They are a schooling fish in the wild, I've watched them in the Solimöes upstream from Manaus, large groups. One of the pictures I referred to in the above thread showed a large group in a typical Solimöes setting. They became very quarrelsome in a 5' tank after about a year. I gave mine away.

maybe when I have that 8ft tank (that I dream about) I'll try them out.
