Hey all, so I was wondering if anyone has actually been able to successfully fix shallow/deep scratches on a acrylic tank. I’ve seen lots of DIYs, but they all seem really sketchy and I don’t want to mess up my tank. I bought the tank used so the scratches came with it. I’ll put a picture of one of the scratches here, even though it’s insanely hard to see on camera. But trust me it’s very noticeable in person.

To my knowledge, they can’t be fixed.

(A little Anacharis will cover that up nicely! ;))

There was a small crack in my aquarium, it was almost invisible, but the water in it and the light from the window made it huge and very noticeable. I don't know where this crack came from, but I'm pretty sure I did it when I was cleaning the aquarium. I talked about it all day and when I went to instagram I saw an ad for a company that deals with glass scratch removal. I decided to contact them and they turned out to be professionals. They polished the aquarium and made it perfect. The most important thing is that there is no distortion of the glass. You can call their office and see if they can repair the scratches on your tank. They also have a lot of information on their website.
