Hi

Just got a eheim for my rio 125 tank and im having trouble connecting the pipes in the tank.

How the hell you fit them in? I can just get spray bar elbow over the juwel filter and the walking stick will for the other end if I chop 2 inch off it and lay it flat to the tank. Other then that is bring the tank 4 inches forward and have the two intakes at one end.

Any ideas of the best way to do it?

Not sure I quite follow how you're trying to fit this...

What eheim model is the new filter? I'm assuming it is an external filter?

Is it the case that the inlet and outlet elbows don't fit over the edge of the juwel or something? You will probably find you need to cut a notch on the back edge to get the inlet and outlets over the edge of the tank without obstructing anything else.

On my rio 180, my Pro 2 2026 is installed on the left hand side and the filter is in the left cabinet. the spray bar runs front to back and the intake is beside it

I also run a tetratec 700 on my rio 125 spray bar is on the back aimed forward and up (it also comes in/out on the left)

I did run both filters side by side for 6-7 week till the external seeds then cut/remove the juwel internal.
