Hi, I have 3 Orandas, a Black Moor and a Ranchu. One of the five, an Oranda called Fishy turned out to be female and is laying eggs about every other week. The problem is the rest of them chase her constantly trying to eat the eggs almost before she lays them. They chase her and nudge her for hours and hours and I feel so sorry for her and want to know if there is anything I can do to stop this or help her - apart from seperate them.
I started out with just Fishy and Manny (the Black Moor) then got a larger tank and got the other 3 fish. While Fishy is laying eggs the only fish (that I can see) that has tubercules is Manny so I'm guessing he's responsible, lol, but it never happened whilst it was just the two of them, only once they were put into the big tank and the other fish were added.
Any tips or advice are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
San.
