Fishy initials and others!!!

Could someone please tell me why everyone here talks in initials   :what:   I am ignorant and feel like a twit each time that I see initials that I have no idea what they are and everyone else does     Put it down to my advanced age or anything else - maybe someone can send me a list of initials and their meanings

yep- that's it. There are so many used in the forums and mostly I've no idea what they're talking about Makes me feel old and decrepid :cry:

Sure ask and shall enlighten. Most of them are quite simple, but point them out when they happen and we'll tell you. It'll make life easy for you. As rose says LFS is the common one

Here are a few more to help you get started...

IMO = In my opinion
IMHO = In my humble opinion
ROTF = Rolling on the floor
ROTFL = Rolling on the floor laughing
ROTFLMAO = Rolling on the floor laughing my arse off
LFS = Local fish store/shop
LPS = Local pet shop/store
