Hello
fishroom nearly finished now have nearly 70 tanks to supply air to any recommendations for a reliable air pump noise not too much of an issue .would i need 1or2 pumps
thanks

How much air do u want?

If loads the get a large blower. very reliable these things.

Or cheap i would get a large Koi air 65 (65 liters/ min)

Or several Rena 400's, i used to have only rena pumps and 1 pump running 15-20 rearing tanks

Have been offered a blagdon40 and a hailea 45ltrs a min at reasonable money .anyone used these in a fishroom any other ideas
thanks

anyone got any suggestions or opinions
thank you

i've got 50 18x12x12,12 24x12x12, 2 24x12x16,1 30x12x16,1 48x12x18,1 36x12x18 and several other odd sized, would like a sponge filter in all smaller tanks and i've got several internals for larger tanks.i am thinking of about 5000ltrs an hour is that enough?
thanks again

blagdons seem unreliable over time, hailea are noisy and dont give as much air as a decent diaphragm pump or blower. I use hagen units or hi-blow

Thanks for that info
next question model number of the pumps please so i can search for them. or a good supplier
thanks again

What you wanna do M8 is make a ring main from 22 or 28mm rigid plastic pipe and 90' bends. Make up a rectangle to fit the roof of your shed/building. Join the pipe and bends and seal. Buy some pipe clips and clip it up to the ceiling out of the way. Feed into the main via your pump at one end and then bleed off from it using

The air is under pressure and will give you more bang for your buck as they say.
I have personally used this DIY build my self in several fish-houses
Go on tell me it works......
Oh I nearly forgot...Here's the pump

I have used numerous air pumps, and found them inadequate for a multiple setup.... I have since used a blower as in the pic below, and find it being more effective..... (I aerate all my tanks, & have a "blow off".... otherwise, I'll blow the fish out the tank.
