fishless cycling ammonia orstress zyme

asked dealer for ammonia.But he told me to use stress zyme instead.And to put some fish food in to start things off.will this do the same thing.also I got a bubble disk. does this go under the gravel or on top. Seems to float abit when on top.And will to many bubbles be a problem.Ahh so many quesions i am glad found this sound site.Thanks in advance

Hey shunter, welcome! The stresszyme May contain some benificial bacteria, if you could get some mature gravel or filter media from somewhere it would work better. Ammonia will work better than the fish food, all the fish food is doing is decaying into ammonia. Get the cheapest ammonia you can with no soap added. If you shake the jug & it foams it has soap. The bubble disk will look better buried under the gravel a bit, and still work the same.
