I've been adding this same amount everyday since.

Im just back from my holiday so im starting my fishless cycle from a fresh start. Been doing it for a few days and no sign of nitrites. I was under the impression that i kept the ammonia level at ~5 so sometimes i dont add ammonia because the level is still around the ~5 mark. Am i supposed to keep adding ammonia even if the level is still around 5 making the ammonia go off the scale? Sorry for hijacking the post but im in the same position. Paul.
