Ok so I have been doing the fishless cycle for 3 months now yeah don't even ask lol but anyways my nitrites yesterday was 0.25 and ammonia was 1 so I got ammonia back to 4 and today nitrite is 0 and ammonia is still 4. Is this normal for ammonia not to drop but nitrite has?

Eh long story lol. I was following some guide on here which was completely wrong after talking to someone, it was telling me to put just 4-6 drops of ammonia per 5 gal or something and then this guy told me to get ammonia to 4-6 ammonia each day so i started doing it and i could never get it to 4ppm i kept adding more each day to try to raise it then before i know it, its off the chart along with everything else, i wait 3 weeks before i do 6 huge water changes to bring it all back on chart, and i been doing the new cycle i guess u can say for 2 weeks now and nitrite has gone to 0 but ammonia isnt

Im guessin it should be ok soon then if its been cycling 2 weeks since sorting everything out
