Hi all,

I was just wondering if you guys squeezed your filters (clean them) during the cycling process like you would do if your tank was already cycled?

Cheers

I never did, but without the fish and most of the plants I have there was no real need to. So I wouldn't bother.

no, cleaning the filter should only been done when strictly nescessary, during cycling the bacteria colony is fragile, you don't wanna do it any damage. cleaning it could cause your cycle to take longer
