I have a 10 gallon tank with a male and 4 female guppies, two neons, 2 tiny neon type guppies, 2 corys one is albino and a huge algie eater. My nitrates are high, and ammonia is up a touch...I was over feeding, so i have not slowed to a little once a day . I have had the tank a few years now. I would like to know if it is ok to add salt to my tank as i heard it is good for the guppies but then heard corys cant handel salt. thanks....

Well if you absolutely don't have to I wouldn't. I use about half of the recommended dosage of salt in my tanks with the corys in them, but I have been for a long long time, and I don't suggest it.
