I’ve already got a juwel fish tank stand that is 100cm by 40cm. Do you think if I got a thick bit of plywood cut to the size of my new tank which is 150cm by 52cm and added it on top of my fish tank stand it would be ok? Weight wise my stand can hold up 500kg according to note book. adding the plywood should be ok right as all 4 corners will be supported by strong marine plywood

That’s a real good thing to do . It adds a bit of stability and it also insulates the bottom of the aquarium somewhat .
Thank you, my tank is 150cm by 50cm and my stand is 100cm by 40cm.
With this thick marine plywood and metal brackets at each corner it should be ok right

The plywood will be slightly bigger then my tank

Should be perfectly OK . Personally , I wouldn’t hesitate at all in doing that .
