Fish Swimming Sideways

Hi there

I just came home and noticed my festivum is flat on his side at the top of the tank

Any advice would be great

What are your water stats?
Does he look bloated?
Does he have any control of his swimming?
Has your tank been cycled?
Have you added anything new?
Have you sprayed any chemicals around the tank?

I dont have a test kit, no he doesnt look bloated, no he doesnt seem to have much control of his swimming, Im not sure what you mean by cycled I have had this tank running for 5 years, nithing new and no chemicals

He may have swim bladder. However he does not sound good. You could try feeding peas, and if you can I would isolate him.

How often do you do water changes? And how much do you exchange?

40% weekly, I dont have a tank to isolate him, is there anything else I can do??? ANYONE???
