Fish Store Friday_2

Yes they are berries. So are bananas and gooseberries and oranges. Berries are a specific type of fruit - a fruit that has many seeds inside a single skin. Drupes have a single seed (plums, cherries), drupelets are a cluster of small drupes (blackberries, raspberries). Strawberries are a pseudo fruit. Pseudofruits are where the fleshy part of the fruit is not inside the ovary of the plant - the seeds of strawberries are on the outside of the skin. Apples are also psuedofruits because the fleshy part of an apple is outside the ovary and is formed when the base of the flower closes up and swells up.

Biology A level mock exam - the teacher set a question with a list of fruits and we had to allocate them to the correct category. The list contained fruits we had not discussed in class and the question was designed to make us think - what were the fruits like and which category was the best fit. I got them all correct

I forgot all about Fish store Fridayo_O, I went to the LFS and picked up some plants and fish today. I should have taken my camera and taken pictures of all the near empty tanks they had.:(

OMG, I am that cucumber.
Except I also play the other parts too, as I live alone. Well not totally alone.
Luckily I have cats and fish as cover for singing/talking to myself. I can just sing "Oh Mr Luna, where's my brush," Oh Loony Tuna, where's my brush? Oh Mr. Luna, where'd you hide my brush, boop boo boo be doop!
Not joking. I even change voices for different characters. All true. But usually
It's to the tune of "Rubber Ducky").
Oh little Noogie where's my phone, you were in here all alone, etc.
