Fish Stocking

Now, what cool fish can i have in a tank which is 2ft by 1ft by 1ft?

I want fish to be in there and not have to worry about them over sizing the tank .

I would perfer different and cool fish.

Also with your listed fish... could you post what sort of equipment i would need to keep them...

Look here for some coldwater ideas; http/fish.orbust.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=44346 . Check out the section for smaller ponds. Personally I think a nice set-up would be a shoal of Minnows either Phoxinus phoxinus or Pimephales promelas, you could also try Rainbow Dace (Cyprinella lutrensis). Then consider some bottom dwellers like Garra pingi pingi or Stone Loaches or maybe even a species of Hillstream Loaches if you kept a well oxygenated tank with a good current and some smooth flat stones. You could also consider Bitterling or maybe a species of Sunfish.....

Would it be possible to mix "Garra pingi pingi" with some tropical?

Because i think Garra pingi pingi seem quite cool.

No, I have also found it can be quite aggressive and likes to suck the slime coats of larger fish so it should be kept with smaller fast moving fish in coldwater. Here is more info; http/fish.orbust.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=35036 .

Thanks for your help, its a real hard decision, but i think i will probably get tropical or brackish water fish of some sort.

Would really love a couple of cat fish, but i know my tanks to small , thanks.

Theres thousands of species of catfish, you can get one for almost any tank. Check out Planet Catfish for pictures and info on hundreds...
