Fish shrinking

I have 2 black mollies and 1 blue/gray platty that had shrunk quiet a bit and I don't know why. Any ideas ?

Too warm water?

Seriously, if they are losing weight, it can be the result of internal disease or parasites, polluted water or too soft water. Those would be the avenues I'd explore. I'd test my water hardness while doing a partial water change, which I would do every week without fail, and see what the readings are.

Did they get skinny overnight or are they getting shorter in the body length?

Hard to take pictures of them bcause they don't stop swimming. But the 2 black mlies when I bought em were like 2 I ches lo g now they're like inch n a half. The white molly I bought along with the black ones it's 3 inches long now n the blue/gray platty same thing shrunk at least 1/4 of an inch

Fish don't shrink in length and there are no diseases that make fish shorter. There are diseases that cause fish to lose weight and lose muscle mass. Intestinal worms can cause fish to lose weight over a period of months. Internal protozoan infections cause fish to lose weight over a week or two. Some protozoan infections that get into the muscle tissue along the dorsal side of the fish can cause muscle degradation over weeks to months. But there's nothing that makes fish shorter in length.

If you have been on holiday and someone was looking after them, maybe the fish died and got replaced with smaller fish.

We need pictures because you seem to be having lots of problems with your fish but we can't see what is going on.

Are these the fish that had fry? That would explain slimmer but not shorter, are you certain that they are shorter?

The only way I could see shorter would be an internal infection/disease that bent their spines. But I doubt you wouldn't mention that, since a bent spine is obvious. It's an odd one, for sure.

First pic he/she used to b bigger. Same thing with second pic it was bigger than it is now

In the last video the black mollies that looks lighter than the other one used to be as dark as the other one

The videos don't work, I just get a black picture with the timer and on/off button at the bottom.

The pictures of the mollies are blurry and I can't tell anything. The platy looks fine.

Unless you have precise images with measurements, before and after, we are discussing your impression of what you see. It may be dead on - I'm not saying you aren't right. But there's nothing we can discuss, except to say it's an odd observation.
