Fish Respiring Heavily & Not Eating! Please Help!

Hey Raseii,

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know it can destroy beneficial bacteria...I am pretty sure the Penguin filter package said it was okay to run it under tap water, but what you say very well could be true and/or better. I have been cleaning the carbon filter with tap water every month or so.

Any further recommendations?
