Fish recommendations - 47.5 gal tank

Hi all,

My father in law has recently got a new tank. He's currently got the following fish and I was just after some comments on the current community, and recommendations on any other fish which would go well with them?

2 Honey Gourami

2 Silver Sharks

2 black molly's

2 white molly's

2 Rainbow Dwarf Gourami

3 Angelfish

2 Fantail Guppy's

4 Tiger Barb

2 Blackwidow Tetra

1 Golden Gourami

2 Golden Tiger Barb

1 Silfin Pleco

The tetras like to be in groups so I would recommend more of them, the guppies are small fish with long fins, tiger barbs and angels are likely to do a lot of damage to them, I would re-home them if I were you.

Tiger barbs are likely to be nippy if kept in such small numbers, don't think I'd risk that with the gouramis and angelfish, either (certainly wouldn't keep guppies in there).
There might be problems with all these gouramis kept together.
Also, he does realise that the silver sharks will outgrow the tank? And should ideally be kept in groups of 3 or more.
If both dwqarf gouramis are male, there may well be territorial problems.
Haven't got time to do the maths, but it does seem quite a lot of fish for the tank.

Thanks for the heads up. He bought the fish on the recommendations from the shop. Its a shame we didnt find this place before he bought it.
