Right i have a 108l tank, with a small shoal of False Harlequin Rasboras and 2 bolivian rams, and im looking for another fish to finish my tank off, it needs to grow to a maximum of 4-5inches and be quite colorfull/interesting and be relativly peaceful.

What ideas do you have?

Sam.

keyhole cichlid
monster betta
golden panchax
gourami

I'll suggest a Gourami because that is the only fish I know that fits that description. :p

OPALING GOURAMI
such a beatuiful fish

click too enlarge !
you could also try an angel depending on how tall your tank is

just get one as two lead to aggression..... dw if you have one it will not be agressive towards smaller fish

or you could get a pair of blue rams providing you keep a clean tank :)

I would not go with a keyhole, because you want something colorful, and a keyhole is not that colorful. I would not do an angel if your tank is not 18" tall, and your tank seems kind of small for an angel. I woul not put BOlivian rams and blue rams together like some one suggested. I would add a gourami.

about the opline gouramis they are not neccecerily aggressive only to their own species i had some which attacked my angels

nice marbled gold by the way

my angels were fine.... i only suggested one

any the op only asked for one fish bigger than 4 inches

I have a mean Opaline too. She is now kept with a large Severum and Tinfoil Barbs. It really depends on the individual fish as I see others keep them just fine in community tanks.

A Dwarf Gourami is an alternative. I think they are pretty mellow and real colorful.
