Anyone got any comments on this.

Ive just bought a 1metre by 0.5metre by 0.5 metre Fish R Fun tank complete with light, 2 tank top filters and cabinet.

The filters have a massive flow rate and are huge. I have discarded the fish R fun media in one of mine and replaced it with eheim filter media and it cost me a fortune the capacity was so large

Anyone else got any comments on these tanks?

which one did you get paul?

I have the gsp 2100

Snap!!!!!!!!!!

Great minds think alike :D

Just out if interest <spanish inquisition mode/>

what lights have you got in it?
what have you got in the filters?

I have got a GPS370 in the bottom (sideways on) with a couple of female nigrofasciatus being fattened up ready for breeding. I plan to eventually have 3x GPS 370 tanks below as breeding tanks

ermm.... the ones that came with it :dunno:

from input
bioballs/course sponge/fine sponge/floss

I have not used the charcoal bags as I don't need them yet.

BTW adding floss to the output hole has reduced the strength of the output,
this is so it don't disturb the sand too much.

one original light and a 6000k sunglo

One filter as was with coarse sponge next to bio balls and the last compartment filled with floss. (and greenline plant food in with carbon)

The other filter has bioballs coarse sponge in first compartment then honeycomb bio material in the big compartment (half from my old eheim and half new) with floss in the final compartment.

They sure are powerful filters. I have used the right angled bend pieces to send the water out horizontally. This stops the sand getting disturbed and the danios love the stong currents it creates.

Filters not mature yet as 0.25mg/l nitrite and I lost some new charcains I bought :rip:. All the danios are ok though (thank goodness)
