I just came home and there all like this :(

My flow was kinda low but I increased it to what is shown in the video.

Below are API tests, I might have a ammonia problem but thats impossible as the only thing I've changed is added more plants?!?

Left to right
Ammonia, nitrite, Nitrate.

Something on the plants? You did some reorganisation last night though didn't you. Could you have disturbed something in the substrate that's caused the water stats to spike?

I don't understand, The only thing I can think of is a HUGE spike of CO2 from the plants and lack of flow could have made next to no oxygen. But I've increased the flow to the surface a ton, but there's no sign of recovery...

I don't see much action on the water surface to the left especially. Have you tried a big water change? From what I can see on your tests it looks like your ammonia is elevated quite a bit, and a water change certainly couldn't hurt.

Am in the middle of doing a waterchange now. Will keep you updated after it.

Did you see any melting from the recently added plants? Melting can cause a slight ammonia spike sometimes, but from your results I would say there is something else going on.  what's your temp at?

My temp is at 25c, I did a 50% waterchange just one tetra at the surface now.

Fairly sure I fixed the problem, Found a dead tetra in my plants. Unsure how he died though.

Sorry about the loss. But glad you may have found the problem.

Not at the moment, the regs leaking so it's on hold.

I can see your api pic but not the pic/video above it? I used to be able to watch videos, odd :/ hope you sort it!

Okay so another two tetras have went back to the surface with rapid breathing. I don't get it, any ideas?

he said the temp was 25c.  I thought it might be the high temp leaving not enough oxygen in the water, but 25c is certainly not too high.
