hi all! :)

My 'full-reef' tank has gone down hill, even before i could start it. I got most of the stuff, only needed LR, salt and a refractometer. But, the LFS's that are close to me, have all closed down 1 by 1 :(
I would consider buying LR online, but the prices are really high and i wouldnt know if the LR standard was good enough?! :/

so anyways.... how can you set-up a fish-only tank? Can you use aragonite sand? How would filtration work? would you need clean up crew?

thanks in advance peeps! :)

live rock suppliers online are just the same, they use superfast delivery services and pack it really well, most of them are identicle in price to LFS. The best way is to find someone breaking a tank donw and buy their rock.

you can run a FO tank on external filters if you wish. You will soon get bored of just fish though.

Don't fret! I would look around near you for people who are breaking down their tanks. The LR will be cheap then as well :)
