I'm not in the UK, but I keep hearing good things about one magazine you have over there, its name is two words, and the first is "Practical" (Practical Fishkeeping, Practical Aquarist?)
Here in the States, the best I've found is Tropical Fish Hobbyist. Don't know if it ships to the UK, though.
