Currently in my first ever fish-less cycle, unfortunately no available filter meterial so going for the long slog!
9 days in to the process Ammonia down to 1-2 ppm and Nitrites going through the roof! Only added amonia to 5ppm the once.

Seems to be going according to plan. I know these things run at differant speeds, but anyone got an estimate as to how long it may take from now? Not really for my benefit, mainly to answer the constant "how long before fish" questions from the family.

You should get the ammonia processing well in the next week or two. After that, processing nitrites can be a pain but it will happen.

Kicked off quick though. Should be happy with that.

Yeah im pretty happy, knowing that the Biorbs weekness is the amount of bio-load it can process i think im well on track. Ive gota realistic stocking plan in reflection of that. Really looking forward to getting it fully cycled. Hope you like the scaping in a limited space. Im happy considering its my first ever attempt.
