Fish ld

Can you ld these fish please, l thought they were convicts. They were bred in the tank, about 3 months old. Nothing else in tank like them. Grey ones.

The black and white things look like balloon convict cichlids.

The brown fish with orange on the belly and blue eye looks like a hybrid between a convict cichlid and a Cichlasoma spilurum (blue eye cichlid). It also looks like a balloon fish.

I’ve seen similar on the bluish one, called Polar Convicts, assuming it’s line or cross bred…

Looks like an Amatitlania myrnae or nanolutea.

I ask because blue polars are genetic soup - an artificial fish, and if they bred, they could throw hybrids that don't conform to the balloonish and head deformities. At that point, if they come from blue polar convicts, there are a lot of genetic strands that could appear, but none of them can be species.
If the OP decides they're nanolutea, for example, they could destroy someone's breeding program for that fish if they were added to the line. We have to be careful of eyeball identifications in hybrid tanks.

So more info is needed.

I think it was the convicts,? But the colour isn't correct, no blue or stripes just pale grey and a dot on the dorsal fin. No other fish in my tank match

With that background, it's a fish of no species - just a hybrid showing some of the colours buried in the genes of its siblings.

Polar Convicts ? Balloon Convicts ? The mad scientists have been tinkering with the Convict Cichlid too huh ? I could just scream !
