If it is similar to the Nano Cube, you have to fish it out (pardon the pun). I had ot mod my tank to put air conditioning foam to obstruct the area to the back sumps. Fish would disappear and I would think they were dead only to find them starving several days later. SH
i read some were that a guy with the same tank made lots mods to his tank and one of them was to the back compartments. he got a bit of egg creating and made a fish stoper over the back. he stuck it as high as he could.(so the lid can close)
Yep i done the same thing with my D&D 24g when i had it
i found my clown had taken a liking to hosting the return pipe from the rear compartments and when it got a shock from Othere fish ect it would jump over into the rear chamber, i found the best way to get it out was to mod a fish net, i simply took a pair of pliers and re shaped the net so it was a nice snug fit across the width of the chamber i then slid it down the side on the chamber till i could feel it touch the bottom i would then try to angle it so it filled the chamber {front to back and side to side} then slowly pull it back up to the top {you could see the fish rising to the top of the chamber and it normally did not get caught in the net till the last 2 or 3 inches of water
hope this is of some help john,o
Happened a couple of times to me as well - but by far the easiest and less stressful way I found to get the fish out was raise the water level right to the rim and they just swim back then syphon out the excess
