What are these, are they difficult to keep, how big a tank/filtration is needed?

They are fantastic.

They looked too good to be true. What is their natural color and are they difficult to keep?

I've been doing some research. They seem to list them as "blood parrot fish" with an extremely intense coloration of red. I wonder if this color is dyed?

I actually saw one of these for sale in a Petland. It disgusted me because it was dyed with "I (a red heart) U. on both sides of the poor fishy.

Sorry to put a negative spin on things "I hate the sight of them". There is enough colour in the natural world without messing about with things.

This is unfair to the fish! What about if the people who done this are dyed in various colours? Will this people enjoy to go to town in various "attactive" colours? Stop buying a dyed fish guys.

As far as I am aware, they are indeed done by acid dip (and the mortality rate is ridiculous). It's too difficult to inject and create that kind of color.
