fish id?

This is the only section i could post a pic so its in here. He is about 4 inches long and is not very aggressive. He does fight a little bit with my convict but nothing to serious. Im just wondering what he is. Thank you

Its a green sunfish, Lepomis cyanellus. A coldwater North American native fish which can have a nasty temper.

i have 2 of them, mine are about 3-4" rite now but they get up to 8-12" long, they are not fussy eaters and they are pretty hardy
