I was in a fish store today - just to look around - and I saw a few fish which I did not recognize.
None of the workers were available to ask.

What are these?

Also - what are these, and what are they doing?
At first I though they were dead - but all were moving - alive, if not particularly well kept.

Upper left photo is an elephant nose, species Gnathonemus petersii, a specialist fish, see data here:

Upper right photo is a Pearl Gourami, Trichopodus lerii, I think a female but not sure. Data here:

Lower photo is a group of African rift lake cichlids, not sure of the species but the cichlid members will know. Look to be in bad condition(s).

The last photo is albino Oscars. They look fine, probably just haven’t been in the tank long…
