Fish I.D?

We just adopted some poorly looked after fish and have checked a heap of sites to try and i.d them but haven't come up with anything close so far.

can anyone I.D these little guys?

Looks like a type of Barb to me - not sure which one though as the pic is quite small.

I am sure someone with more knowledge than me will be able to help.

To get the picture try this:

They look a little like Pentazonz barbs, but the bands do not look thick enough.

A larger photo will help, but I will continue looking.

Another contender is Puntius everetti, Clown Barb.

the fish are only an inch long, and next to the red tail tetras they look similar, except longer with the black fleck/stripes ... they move pretty fast like danios or they hang out on the bottom... and that's about all i can tell you.
