:-( Help!!!

One of my uncles Gouramis caught caught in a tink nook on a rock thing he bought from the store! He was wriggling and he couldn't free himself! He had to use his finger to push the fish back through the rock! He eventaully got out but his body is badly scratched and maybe even cut! Is there anything I can do to help him????

I don't know if he'll even live through the night. :-(

Please help...

add some melafix to the tank if you have some, I'm glad you guys found him before he drowned :( Best of luck!

use some anti-Bacterial med in your tank in case it gets infected

Aww geez, I'm sorry to hear it. This sort of thing seems to happen way too often, and it often seems to be gouramis! I think their extremely curious nature gets them into trouble. In fact, the same thing happened with my male dwarf gourami. Thankfully he is fine now, I just added some salt and melafix. Anyways, I just wanted to suggest you block up the hole he got stuck in, or it may happen again. I used filter sponge to block up mine, it's not very obvious and it's certainly safer. Best wishes!

My female betta died becasue she was cut by a plants pot. the melafix didn't help and shes was killed by fungus. I would sepearte it fromthe tank immediatley and treat with fungus and finrot, You have to treat it early. Godd luck

I lost a betta to that same thing. He got stuck in a hole in the little castle decor I had in his tank and he drowned. :( I didn't see it happening because I was at work. I was so upset,I could have prevented it but I never thought he'd get stuck. :/
